Thanks for the comment! I’m glad you were able to see a session that you missed It is so frustrating when you go to a conference and the sessions you want to see are happening at the same time!
What a great idea though…to add places for the SCCBA Nominees. Are you placing them in the author’s home town or where the book is based?
An idea for links may be to link them to the SCASL page where there is the document for activities and book talks for the book award nominees.

Hi Julia. I attended your Google Lit Trips session at ETV this week because I missed it at SCASL and I am so glad I was able to see it. I’ve just finished adding places for 2 Children’s Book Award Nominees for this year (Jack Plank Tells Tales & The Earth Dragon Awakes). I haven’t gotten into the pictures and descriptions or discussion questions yet but I’m excited so far. Thank you so much for this valuable training.

Julia – enjoyed so much the Google Lit trip session that you did and I can’t wait to introduce this at school. What I’d really like to develop is a Literary Google Lit trip with local authors. My “big girl” book club is planning a road trip and it would be fun to tie in Google Lit trip mapping and even geocache the trip. Mmmm…. wish I had more time!
